GTsetu

How to Log Out

Logging out of GTsetu ends your current session on the device. No data is deleted when you log out — your profile, collaborations, and settings remain intact and will be accessible the next time you log in.

How to Log Out

There are two ways to log out:

Option 1 — From the Settings Page

  1. Click Settings in the left navigation menu
  2. Locate the Logout card on the Settings page
  3. Click the Logout link within the card
  4. You will be signed out and redirected to the GTsetu login screen

Option 2 — From the Bottom of the Navigation Menu

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the left navigation menu
  2. Click the Logout option displayed in red at the very bottom
  3. You will be signed out immediately

What Happens When You Log Out

  • Your session is ended on the current device
  • You will be redirected to the GTsetu login screen
  • All your account data — profile, collaborations, shortlist, documents, and settings — remains saved and intact
  • You can log back in at any time using your registered email and password

When You Should Log Out

It is particularly important to log out in the following situations:

  • When using a shared or public device — such as a computer in a co-working space, library, or conference room
  • When leaving your workstation unattended for an extended period in an open-access environment
  • If you suspect your account may have been accessed without authorisation — log out, then immediately reset your password from the login screen using the Forgot Password option

Logging Out vs. Deleting Your Account

Logging out is a temporary action that simply ends your current session. Your account remains fully active and accessible.

Deleting your account is a permanent action that requires contacting GTsetu support.
