Business Overview

This section describes what your company does, which industry it belongs to, the role it plays in the value chain, and what types of collaborations it is open to.

This is one of the most important sections for discovery — other companies use this information to decide whether they want to connect with you.

Company Description (Required)

Write a clear, professional description of your company. Think of this as your company’s elevator pitch.

What to include:

  • What your company does (core business activity)
  • Your area of expertise or specialisation
  • The industries or markets you serve
  • What makes you different or valuable as a partner

Character limit: Up to 800 characters

What to avoid: Marketing buzzwords and vague claims. Be factual and specific — potential partners will read this to assess fit.

Tip: Use the Generate with AI button at the top-right of the page to auto-generate a description based on your inputs. You can then edit it to better reflect your tone and add specific details.

Industry Category (Required)

Select the primary industry your company belongs to. This is the main filter other companies use when searching for partners on the Discover page.

  • Click the dropdown and choose the one industry that best represents your core business
  • You can only select one primary industry

Examples of available categories:

  • Manufacturing
  • Automotive & EV
  • Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences
  • Construction & EPC
  • Agriculture & Food Processing
  • ICT & Digital Technologies
  • Chemicals & Petrochemicals

Sub-Industry (Optional)

Once you select an Industry Category, a Sub-Industry dropdown will appear. Use this to narrow down your specific area within the broader industry.

  • Select the category first, then choose a sub-category
  • This improves the precision of partner matching

Example:

  • Industry: ICT & Digital Technologies
  • Sub-Industry: B2B Platforms & Marketplaces
