How to Request Account Deletion

GTsetu does not provide a self-service account deletion option within the platform. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, you must submit a request to GTsetu’s support team.


Why Account Deletion Requires Support

The support-assisted deletion process is a deliberate safeguard. Permanently deleting a company account removes your profile, all associated collaboration records, shared documents, questionnaire responses, and any other data linked to your account. This action is irreversible.

Requiring human oversight ensures that account deletions are intentional and that no data is lost accidentally.


How to Request Account Deletion

Step 1 — Navigate to Settings Click Settings in the left navigation menu.

Step 2 — Locate the Delete Account Card On the Settings page, find the Delete Account card. The card notes that you should contact the support team to proceed.

Step 3 — Contact GTsetu Support Reach out to the support team using any of the following methods:

  • Email: info@gtsetu.com
  • Phone: +91 91756 00107

In your message, include:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your company name and Business ID (e.g., ZMCV-9573)
  • A clear statement that you are requesting permanent account deletion
  • The reason for deletion (optional, but helpful for the team)

Step 4 — Confirmation from the Support Team The GTsetu support team will verify your identity and confirm the deletion request before proceeding. You may be asked to verify ownership of the account via your registered email address.


Before You Request Deletion

Consider the following before submitting a deletion request:

  • Active collaborations — Any open Collaboration Workspaces will become inaccessible to both you and your partners. Inform your active partners before requesting deletion.
  • Downloaded reports — Ensure you have downloaded all Collaboration Reports you wish to retain, as these will no longer be accessible once the account is deleted.
  • Credits — Check whether you have any unused credits remaining. Clarify with the support team whether these are eligible for a refund before deletion.
  • Irreversibility — Account deletion is permanent. The same email address may not be re-registered on the platform.

Alternative: Temporary Inactivity

If you do not need to use GTsetu for a period but do not want to permanently delete your account, you can simply log out and leave the account inactive. There is no penalty for inactivity, and your data will remain secure on the platform.
